The upcoming anime My New Boss Is Goofy introduces the character Yūsei Shirosaki; Premiering in October

The official website for the TV adaptation of Dan Ichikawa's manga "My New Boss Is Goofy" (Atarashii Jōshi wa Do Tennen) has released a promotional video featuring Yūsei Shirosaki. The anime, set to premiere in October, has announced that it will release a new promotional video for a different main character each week until its release.



"My New Boss Is Goofy" is set in a workplace environment and revolves around 26-year-old office worker Kentarō Momose. After leaving his previous job due to harassment by his former boss, Momose is anxious about his new workplace. However, his fears are dispelled upon meeting his new boss, Yūsei Shirosaki, whose carefree demeanor puts Momose at ease.

The main cast includes Yuichiro Umehara as Yūsei Shirosaki, Kōtarō Nishiyama as Kentarō Momose, Tomokazu Sugita as Mitsuo Aoyama, Jun Fukuyama as Aigo Kinjō, and Hiro Shimono as Hakutō. Noriyuki Abe is directing the anime, and A-1 Pictures is handling the animation. The team also includes Masahiro Yokotani, who is in charge of the series scripts, Takahiro Yasuda, who is designing the characters, Masato Nakayama, who is composing the music, and Jin Aketagawa as the sound director.
