Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu S2 - Episode 1

In Episode 1 of "Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu" Season 2, titled "What? The Moon Over the Ruined Castle?," the protagonist Misumi Makoto continues his journey in a new world alongside his follower Shiki. Makoto reflects on his time in this world, including his efforts to improve it and his reliance on his demi-human family. They are on their way to the Rotsgard Academy to open a new store.

While Makoto and Shiki travel to Rotsgard, they discuss the need to be cautious to avoid detection by the goddess. Shiki takes responsibility for finding accommodations and ensures it’s not just any place but a decent one. Makoto thinks about Tomoe and Mio, two other followers to whom he has entrusted the responsibility of the demiplane.

Meanwhile, Tomoe and Mio experience a cooking disaster in the demiplane. Mio attempts to make curry rice, but the dish consists of inedible and dangerous ingredients. The tasting turns into a fiasco, as the tasters either fall ill or cannot stomach Mio’s bizarre preparations.

Back in the town of Obitt, Makoto faces prejudice due to his appearance but tries to adapt. He eats at a local tavern, where he learns that the dish contains slime. The tavern owner assumes Makoto is an adventurer due to his knowledge and asks for his help with a slime-hunting quest.

At the adventurer’s guild, Makoto overhears a conversation about a group of bandits called "Moon Over the Ruined Castle." He takes an interest in the situation but hesitates to get involved. However, he decides to help Lana, a villager from Tapa Village, and her companion Eto, a werewolf. Using his powers, he quickly transports them to their village.

Upon arrival, Makoto senses something amiss in the village and discovers that the Moon Over the Ruined Castle bandits have harmed the villagers. Makoto decides to act, confronts the bandits, and incapacitates them without killing them, warning them never to use the name "Moon Over the Ruined Castle" again.

Lana and the villagers are grateful and mistakenly believe their prayers have been answered. Makoto returns to Shiki, who has found a first-class inn for them to stay in. Makoto is concerned about the cost but agrees with Shiki’s decision.

The episode ends with Makoto pondering the existence of other heroes in the world and his potential encounters with them. The next episode is teased with the title "The Heroes Are a Couple of Beauties."
