Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy S2 - Episode 8

At the beginning of this episode, concerns about climatic irregularities in the Demiplane lead to discussions about introducing a seasonal cycle similar to Japan's. Makoto decides to return to Rotsgard and asks his companions not to take any reckless steps in his absence. Upon his return to Rotsgard, Makoto is warmly welcomed and tends to the successful businesses of the Kuzunoha Company, including distributing bonuses and handling administrative tasks.

Makoto accepts three new students into his class: Shifu and Yuno Rembrandt, two sisters returning to school after recovering from an illness, and Karen Force, an exchange student from another academy. The sisters are known for their problematic behavior, but in class, they are polite and cooperative. Karen's extraordinary strength arouses Makoto's suspicion about her true identity.

As the episode progresses, Makoto gives his students practical combat training, emphasizing the importance of mana control and physical strengthening. The Rembrandt sisters and Karen participate, demonstrating their abilities and improvements under Makoto's guidance.

Later, it is revealed that Karen is actually a demon named Rona in disguise. Rona admits that she is at the academy to investigate and stop the humanoid experiments. Makoto and Shiki then hold a strategic conversation with Rona about the situation to understand her intentions and the broader implications for the academy and beyond.

Additionally, Makoto tasks Lime Latte, who acts as Tomoe's spy, with investigating human trafficking and the involvement of the Assassins' Guild in the city, further highlighting the underlying problems in Rotsgard.
