Victor Mares, born Victor Mares Becerril on August 1, 1972, is a Mexican voice actor with a extensive career in Latin American dubbing. He is the son of fellow voice actors Victor Mares Alcalá and María Becerril, and he began working in the industry at the age of four. His work spans animation, live-action series, and films, and he is also known for his voice direction and translation work.

Mares has built a significant body of work in anime, lending his voice to a wide variety of characters. He is perhaps best known as the voice of Arsenio Lupin III in the Spanish dub of the long-running Lupin III series. His extensive list of anime roles includes Gurú Clef and Masiel in Las Guerreras Mágicas, Hiroshi and the narration in Dokonjo Gaeru, and Jaime in Zillion, el caballero blanco. He also voiced the character Gamba in Las aventuras de Gamba, which is noted as his debut role. In the film Phoenix 2772 - Space Firebird, he provided the voices for both Captain Bolcan and the character Crack. His work in the Transformers franchise includes voicing Megatron, known as Samraz in the series Transformers: The Headmasters.

Mares's talent is also present in several notable animated films and specials. In the English-language animated film Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland, he voiced the characters Flip and Oompo in the Spanish dub. He also took on the role of Gouzou Mizuchi in the Sukeban Deka OVA series. Beyond these, his anime credits include roles in Case Closed, Cybersix, Magic Knight Rayearth, Saint Tail, and Tokko.

Beyond his on-screen roles, Mares has also contributed to the industry as a dubbing director. He served as the dubbing director for episodes 11 through 38 of the Saint Tail anime series. His voice work is not limited to anime; he is also the long-time Spanish voice of Mickey Mouse and has famously dubbed actor Michael J. Fox in several films, including the Back to the Future trilogy.
