Gilberta Crispino is an Italian voice actress and stage actress, born in Rome on June 29, 1971, into a family with deep roots in the entertainment industry. She is the daughter of voice actress Franca Lumachi and film director Armando Crispino. Her career began at a very young age; she provided the Italian voice for the character Sterling in the anime series Rascal, the Raccoon when she was only fourteen years old.
Crispino is widely recognized for her extensive work dubbing foreign animation into Italian. Her filmography includes a vast range of roles in anime, animated series, and films. Among her most prominent anime roles are Maria in the 1998 television special Lupin III: Crisis in Tokyo and Yuri Koigakubo in the series Toradora! as well as its OVA, Toradora SOS! Hurray for Gourmands. Her other notable anime credits include providing the Italian voice for Chrona in Soul Eater, Ryunosuke Fujinami in the later episodes of Urusei Yatsura, and Gasser in Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. She has also voiced characters in series such as Gintama, Komi Can't Communicate, and The Ancient Magus' Bride, as well as the film Tekken: Blood Vengeance as Anna Williams.
In addition to Japanese animation, Crispino is a familiar voice in many Western cartoons and children's programs. She is the Italian voice of Gretchen Grundler in the Recess franchise and Bibi Blocksberg in Bibi Blocksberg.
