Garrick Hagon is a British-Canadian actor with an extensive career in film, television, stage, and voice acting. Born in London, England, on September 27, 1939, he was raised in Toronto, Canada, where he studied English at Trinity College. His early acting career was rooted in theatre, performing with Alec Guinness in Richard III at the Stratford Festival and winning the Tyrone Guthrie Award in 1963. While he is widely recognized for his on-screen role as Biggs Darklighter in Star Wars: A New Hope, he has also built a significant body of work as a voice actor.

In the realm of anime and animated productions, Hagon is known for his contributions to English dubs produced in the United Kingdom, particularly for Manga Entertainment. He provided the voice for the samurai Goemon Ishikawa XIII in Manga Entertainment's UK dubs of two Lupin III films. These include Lupin the 3rd: The Mystery of Mamo and the television special Lupin the 3rd: Goodbye Lady Liberty. In the English adaptation of Goodbye Lady Liberty, his character is part of a cast that included William Dufris as Lupin and Toni Barry as Fujiko. He also took on the role of Daizen Imura in the English dub of the 1990 samurai OVA Sword for Truth, produced by Manga Entertainment in the late 1990s.

Beyond these specific titles, Hagon's anime voice credits include a role in the English version of Tokyo Babylon.
