Salomón Adames is a Venezuelan actor recognized for his extensive career in dubbing, particularly for anime series and films. He began his professional journey in the performing arts in 1979 and is also known for his work as a mime, puppeteer, voice director, and professor of expressive tools for dramatic interpretation.

Adames is considered part of the pioneering group of voice actors in Venezuela, having lent his voice to various animation and film characters since 1980. His voice direction work includes a long tenure as artistic director and dubbing advisor at Lipsync Audio Video starting in 1990, and he currently serves as Head Artistic Director of Dubbing at VC Medios.

His filmography in anime includes a range of significant roles. He is known for voicing Gai Kuroki in the series Tenkū Senki Shurato and for his role as Mayan Baceska, the king, in the film They Were Eleven. Other notable anime credits include roles in Fullmetal Alchemist, Speed Grapher as Seijiro Togoshi, Solty Rei as Dewy Black, Basilisk, Wolf's Rain, Hellsing as Sir Hugh Island, and Vandread as the grandfather of Hibiki. He also provided voices for classic series such as Slayers and Bubblegum Crisis.

Beyond anime, his voice work extends to numerous animated series and films. He is the voice of characters like Graveheart in War Planets: Shadow Raiders, Jack Tenrac in Cadillacs and dinosaurs, and Walker in Danny Phantom. Adames has also dubbed a wide array of live-action films, providing the Spanish voice for actors such as Morgan Freeman in The Shawshank Redemption, Jack Nicholson in Blood and Wine, and Charles Bronson in Death Wish 5: The Face of Death.

Throughout his career, Adames has maintained recurring collaborations with various dubbing studios in Venezuela, including Etcétera Cinematográfica, Lipsync Audio Video, Estudios Lain, and Audio Lab Estudios. In addition to his performance work, he has cultivated a career in theater, puppetry, and mime, founding the mime group Guiñol de Venezuela in 1983, and has directed various theatrical works.
