Jonathan Peter Leon is an American voice actor known for his work in English dubs of anime series and films. Born on April 15, 1996, he developed a foundation for his performance career through formal education, graduating from San Diego State University in the fall of 2019 with two bachelor's degrees in Theater and Communication. During his time at university, he participated in main stage theater productions, short films, and animation projects, and he received the Best Leading Male Actor award from the university's theater department in his senior year. To further specialize in voice-over work, he subsequently took classes with the MultiMedia Arts Voice Over School and completed an audio production course called Voice Recording Bootcamp, where he gained technical expertise in recording and editing.

Leon's voice is described as naturally sitting in a higher pitch range, which he believes allows him to portray a variety of age groups. His vocal skills are complemented by a strong musical background; he is a music producer who also sings, raps, beatboxes, and plays several instruments including guitar, ukulele, and piano. He has previously scored films and arranged music for group musical projects, and he maintains a home recording studio for his voice acting and music production work.

In the realm of anime, Leon has provided voices for English-language adaptations. He is part of the English voice cast for the 2022 original anime film Goodbye, Don Glees!, directed by Atsuko Ishizuka. In the film, he voices the character Shizuku Sakuma, who is nicknamed Drop. The character is a new member of a small club of teen misfits called the Don Glees, and Leon's performance contributes to the film's story about childhood friendship and self-discovery. Leon also voices the character Kazushi Yamagishi in the popular anime series Tokyo Revengers. Kazushi Yamagishi is a middle school friend of the protagonist and is known within the series for his extensive knowledge of the delinquent underworld, a trait that earns him the nickname Gang-dex. Leon's portrayal of Yamagishi spans across the series, including its first season which aired in 2021 and subsequent seasons.
