Ximena Viver is an Ecuadorian actress of dubbing and voice-over artist, recognized for her work in anime, television series, and video games. She has been based in Argentina since 2016, where she has developed a prolific career in the Latin American dubbing industry.
Viver's interest in voice work began at a young age. She studied Mass Media Communication at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador and began her career as a radio announcer. In 2007, she won a reality contest on Radio Kiss FM, which led to her hosting a radio program. Seeking to expand her professional horizons, she moved to Argentina to further her education, earning a degree in Design and Communication Business from the University of Palermo in Buenos Aires. While in Argentina, she also pursued specialized training in dubbing, including courses at the prominent studio Civisa. Her entry into professional dubbing began in earnest after her second move to Argentina, where she secured her first recurring character role shortly thereafter.
In the realm of anime, Viver is notably recognized for voicing the iconic character Fujiko Mine in the Latin American Spanish dub of Lupin the Third Part 6. This series was dubbed in Argentina at Marmac Group, where she joined a cast that included Pedro Ruiz as Lupin III and René Sagastume as Daisuke Jigen. Her work in anime also includes voicing Ryoko Tamiya in Parasyte -the maxim-, Cisnia in Yo-kai Watch, and a role in Scott Pilgrim Takes Off.
Beyond anime, Viver's dubbing career encompasses a wide range of projects for major platforms such as Netflix, HBO Max, Disney, and Cartoon Network. Her work in live-action series includes voicing Lila Pitts in The Umbrella Academy, Olivia Crain in The Haunting of Hill House, Jamie in The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Bess Till in Snowpiercer. In animation, she has lent her voice to Nancy Green in Big City Greens, Gregoria in Vampirina, and Grace in Infinity Train, among many other roles.
