Roman Rossa

Description
Roman Rossa is a German actor and voice actor born in 1972 in Bruchsal, Germany. He completed his acting training at the Westfälische Schauspielschule Bochum between 1995 and 1998. Following his education, he worked extensively as an on-screen actor in numerous German television productions, including series such as Polizeiruf 110, Alarm für Cobra 11, In aller Freundschaft, and Rote Rosen, as well as in television films like Rosamunde Pilcher - Aus Liebe und Leidenschaft. His career gradually expanded to include voice-over work for documentaries and commercials, and since around 2014, he has focused significantly on synchronization, the German term for dubbing, working out of studios in Hamburg and Berlin.

In the field of anime, Rossa provides the German voice for characters in various series and films. One of his notable roles is Tatsuto Tatsunuma in the 2022 anime series Tribe Nine. He also voiced the character Gawain in the 2022 film Fate/Grand Order The Movie: Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot Paladin; Agateram. His other anime dubbing work includes roles in series such as Vinland Saga and Tokyo Revengers, where he lends his voice to supporting characters.

Rossa's voice work in anime often involves dubbing for specific Japanese actors. For instance, he is the regular German voice for actor Shunsuke Takeuchi, providing the German dubbing for Takeuchi's performances in anime like Tribe Nine (as Tatsuto Tatsunuma) and other series. This practice of being the standard voice for a foreign actor is a common aspect of professional dubbing work.

Beyond anime, his career as a voice actor is broad, encompassing dubbing for live-action films and series, narration for documentaries, and voice-over work for numerous commercial clients.
