Description
Roberto Salguero is a Mexican actor specializing in theater and dubbing, as well as a dubbing director, voice-over artist, and singer. He studied acting at LAEDVA under the instruction of Alfonso Obregón and also holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the Universidad Vasco de Quiroga in Michoacán. Before gaining recognition in voice acting, he began his career as a radio announcer in his home state of Michoacán.
Salguero has built an extensive career voicing characters in anime for the Latin American Spanish market. Among his most recognized anime roles are Shun Kamiya in Tribe Nine, Albert Hawke in The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent, Kokufu in ID: INVADED, and Leone Abbacchio in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. His filmography also includes voicing Mafuyu Satou in Given, Futoshi in DARLING in the FRANXX, Gabiru in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond, Takeda in The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie, Yuto in Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V, Jun Sagawa in Mob Psycho 100 III, and Silas Karlisle in Beyblade Burst God. He has also provided voices for dubs of popular films and series, such as Luigi in The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Shang-Chi in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Beyond his work in front of the microphone, Salguero has taken on leadership roles in dubbing projects. He has served as dubbing director for the Latin Spanish versions of the live-action series Kimi ni Todoke and the film The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie. His work on the second season of The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent was carried out at VSI Mexico, under the direction of Xóchitl Ugarte.
