David Jordan Chen

David Jordan Chen is a Canadian-American voice actor and ADR director based in Los Angeles, California. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on May 1, 1980, he initially pursued a career in finance, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Boston College and working as an analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York City. He later transitioned to the entertainment industry, moving to Los Angeles to obtain a Master's degree in Film and Television Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he was honored with the John Frankenheimer Memorial Fellowship in Directing. He is proficient in Cantonese, French, and Mandarin Chinese.
Chen's voice acting career in anime and animation is extensive. In anime, he is known for his role as Chess in the 4Kids English adaptation of One Piece and as Rocky and Sergio in the Pokémon Advance series. In the film Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island, he provided the voices for both Uragang and Omur Fang. His other notable anime film credits include Gogo Doggo in Belle and Andy in the series Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall.
Beyond anime, Chen has an extensive portfolio in Western animation and live-action dubbing. He has voiced characters for major franchises, including Hogun and Wong in the Marvel series What If...? and Mr. Tang in the Lego Monkie Kid series.
