Description
Uragang, a lieutenant under M'Quve during the One Year War, operated from Odessa and participated in M’Quve’s nuclear retaliation threat against Earth cities during the Federation’s Gibraltar Strait offensive—a threat dismissed by Admiral Gopp. When communication with Point C.A.’s nuclear base failed, he deployed the Southern Cross Corps to Alegranza, home of Cucuruz Doan, to investigate. Following Odessa’s recapture by the Federation, he fled to space carrying a vase entrusted by M’Quve, who remained to lead the Gouf Squadron.

By U.C. 0082, Uragang resurfaced, scheming to avenge M’Quve by targeting Amuro Ray. He hired operative Yamada to ambush Amuro, Hayato Kobayashi, and Fraw Bow at Japan’s Izumo Grand Shrine. The plot collapsed after his custom Gyan was destroyed, triggering a psychological collapse. Hallucinating a vision of M’Quve condemning his Gyan reconstruction as a betrayal of principles, Uragang faced accusations of tarnishing his commander’s legacy and enabling a “circus of fools.” He ultimately collapsed unconscious amid scattered alcohol and overturned furniture, witnessed by subordinates.

In *Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island*, his role mirrors *The Origin* manga’s portrayal, dispatching the Southern Cross Corps to resolve Alegranza’s nuclear missile crisis, reinforcing his position within the Zeon-Federation conflict.
