Kentarō Araki is a Japanese actor and voice actor from Kumamoto Prefecture, born on August 25, 1982. He is affiliated with the talent agency Spacenoid Company. His nickname is Araken. His career is deeply rooted in stage performance, and he has expanded his work to include anime voice acting.

Araki began his professional career in theater, joining the renowned theater company Studio Life in 2004. He remained a key member of the company for a decade, starring in numerous productions such as Romeo and Juliet, The Portrait of Dorian Gray, and adaptations of works by Moto Hagio. Since leaving Studio Life in 2014, he has continued to be highly active in the 2.5D musical and stage scene, which adapts manga and anime for the stage. His notable stage roles include performing as Minamoto no Yoshitsune in the popular Musical Touken Ranbu series and as Sakiyo in the stage play of YuYu Hakusho.

In anime, one of his prominent roles is Tsurukubi in the 2022 television series Rusted Armors: Daybreak. This series is part of the larger Rusted Armors mixed-media project, which also includes stage plays in which Araki has performed. He also voiced the character Suzuki Shun in The New Prince of Tennis.

Beyond these titles, Araki has contributed to other projects. He had a voice role as Araki in the hit animated film Weathering with You (2019). He also appeared in the 2014 live-action television drama Zero no Shinjitsu: Kansatsui Matsumoto Mao, playing the role of Maruyama Kyosuke.

In August 2023, he announced that he had changed his stage name from the previously used Kentarō Araki back to his birth name, Kentarō Araki.
