Philippe Bozo is a French actor, director, and voice artist born on May 31, 1965. He trained at the Ecole Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle and in various theatre workshops during the 1980s and 1990s, building a foundation for a career that spans live-action performance and voice work.

Bozo began his career in theatre, taking on roles such as Figaro in a production of Beaumarchais's The Marriage of Figaro and Philinte in Molière's The Misanthrope. He also appeared in television films like Les enfants du mensonge and had a principal role in the 2002 film La Petite amie d’Hugo. However, he is most widely recognized for his extensive work in dubbing.

He is the regular French voice of actor Jack Black, dubbing his performances in numerous films. His voice is also featured in a wide array of animated films and series. Notable film roles include the title character in the French-language versions of Wall-E, Tad Stones in Tad the Lost Explorer and its sequel Tad the Lost Explorer and the Emerald Tablet, Koichi in Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea, and Maurice the penguin in the Les As de la jungle film series.

In the realm of anime and animated series, his roles are prolific. He voices Jean Havoc in both adaptations of Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, as well as the embodiment of The Truth in the latter. He has also voiced characters in long-running franchises such as One Piece, where he played Gasparde in the fourth film and Boo Kong in the fifth. Other notable anime credits include roles in Monster, Hunter x Hunter, Get Backers, and GTO. He also provides voices for several Sonic the Hedgehog series, including Manic in Sonic le Rebelle, Dave the Intern in Sonic Boom, and Chaos Sonic in Sonic Prime. For the Dragon Ball franchise, he has voiced the characters Ro and Vermod in Dragon Ball Super, and in the 2022 film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, he took on the role of the android Gamma 1 in the French dub.
