Description
Taichi Kusano is a Japanese voice actor affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production. He was born on November 4 in Osaka Prefecture. Kusano decided to pursue a career in voice acting because he wanted to be part of the world of anime. He is a graduate of the voice actor and talent department at Osaka Amusement Media College. His professional training cohort at Aoni Production included fellow voice actors Shogo Sakata, Yudai Mino, and Kanami Taguchi.
Kusano began his career in the 2010s, taking on various supporting roles. His early anime appearances include small parts in the sixth series of GeGeGe no Kitaro in 2019, which is considered his debut role, and in Chibi Maruko-chan the same year. He continued to build his resume with roles in series such as Basketball Shark (Ahiru no Sora), Tower of God, and Doraemon in 2020.
He has been cast in a variety of anime series. He voiced Taichi Betsuyaku in the second and third seasons of World Trigger. In the series Love All Play, he played the role of Rintaro Shiba. He also voiced the character Juka Mutsuoka in Fairy Ranmaru ~Let's Help Your Heart~, and is the voice of Micoon in the Sanrio multimedia project JOCHUM. Other notable roles include Sora Asou in High School Earth Defense Club Haikara! in 2025, and various characters in video games such as Jack Jeanne, Ensemble Stars!!, and Monster Strike.
Beyond anime and games, Kusano has participated in stage plays, including productions by the Hash production company. He has also been involved in radio, co-hosting the web radio program Kusano Taichi Fujisawa Sho no Boku nchi Sumawanai? with fellow voice actor Sho Fujisawa starting in 2023. In addition, he has performed character songs for his roles. As part of the unit 5 to HEAVEN, formed with the main cast of Fairy Ranmaru, he performed the opening and ending theme songs for the series. He was also part of the Sanrio project Warahibi!, making his singer debut with the group's theme song GIFT for SMILE! in 2019. His hobbies include playing card tricks and kendama (a traditional Japanese cup-and-ball game), and he speaks the Osaka dialect.
