Kento Itō is a Japanese voice actor, singer, and composer from Tokyo, born on October 18, 1988. He is affiliated with the talent agency 81 Produce. Before his voice acting career began, he was active as a Vocaloid producer from 2009 to 2017 under the name 21SeikiP. He decided to pursue voice acting after seeing an advertisement for the Tokyo Announce Academy, where he later trained, feeling it would help him improve his communication skills.
Itō's professional voice acting debut came in 2011, and he landed his first main role in a television anime in 2018 as Hirotaka Nifuji in Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku. This role is one of his most recognized performances. His other major anime roles include Shinichiro Oda in 2.43: Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Team and Kōichi Mizuki in The Titan's Bride, as well as Goro Amemiya in Oshi no Ko, Kyōichi Majima in My Home Hero, and Hinata Tachibana in Life with an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout. He is also known for his voice work in video games, notably as Dan Heng in Honkai: Star Rail, Toya Aoyagi in Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku, and Divus Crewel in Disney Twisted-Wonderland.
Itō is heavily involved in music-related voice acting projects. He voices Doppo Kannonzaka in the mixed-media franchise Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-. In 2019, he and his fellow Hypnosis Mic cast members received the Singing Award at the 13th Seiyu Awards for their musical performances in the franchise. His skills as a musician include playing guitar and drums. He is also a member of the musical unit UMake with fellow voice actor Yoshiki Nakajima, for which he serves as the composer. In 2022, he made his debut as a solo singer under the A-Sketch label's Astro Voice imprint.
