Junpei Baba is a Japanese voice actor born on January 28, 1995, in Yamagata Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent agency 81 Produce.

His path to becoming a voice actor was inspired during his adolescence by the anime Macross 7. Before pursuing voice acting professionally, he was an active member of his school's football team. He trained at the 81 ACTOR'S STUDIO and made his debut in 2016 after being selected in the Tsukipro Music Grand Prix. In this competition, he performed the role of Junpei Ryōgoku as part of the second-generation group Tsukikura. He officially joined 81 Produce on April 1, 2017.

Baba's voice is classified as a high baritone. His early career consisted of numerous minor and supporting roles in television anime, with credits starting in 2017 for series such as Shoukoku no Altair and continuing through the late 2010s and early 2020s with appearances in shows like Fate/Grand Order - Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia, Mix, and 22/7. He has also provided voices for video games, including Tokyo Chronos and The Magicami.

A more prominent role came in 2022 when he was cast as Kaito Kazanin in the multimedia project Futsal Boys!!!!!, voicing the character in both the television anime and the accompanying game, Futsal Boys!!!!! High-Five. His other notable anime roles from this period include the judge Uria in Wandance, Sorakaze in Go! Go! Loser Ranger!, and various supporting characters in series like In Another World with My Smartphone and Kaina of the Great Snow Sea.

Beyond anime, his professional activities have included stage narration for the DarkestoRy project, a role he held from 2019 to 2023. He is also known for his singing ability and possesses skills in kyudo, the Japanese art of archery, and drip coffee preparation.
