Satoru Inoue is a Japanese voice actor from Hiroshima Prefecture, born on March 23. He is affiliated with the talent management agency Arts Vision. His interest in a career as a voice actor was sparked during his childhood after watching the film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.

Inoue pursued his goal by training at the Japan Narration Acting Institute. He began his professional career in 2004, with one of his earliest roles being in the game Empire Thousand Year War. He subsequently gained experience through a variety of supporting roles in television anime, with appearances in series such as Shonen Onmyouji, Skip Beat!, Soul Eater, and Darker than Black.

Inoue has built a career as a versatile performer, taking on parts in anime, video games, and dubbing for foreign films and dramas. In anime, he is known for his portrayal of the villain Magne in the popular series My Hero Academia, a role he began in the show's third season. His other notable anime roles include Gong Sun Zan (Kō Son San) Ez8 in SD Gundam Sangokuden Brave Battle Warriors and Section Chief Watanabe in the ONA series Ichi Nichi Shite Narazu. His work also extends to video games; for instance, he voiced the character Russell in the Nintendo Switch title Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics.

In his personal life, Inoue is married and has a daughter, born in the spring of 2019. He announced this news publicly in March 2020, expressing his gratitude for support with childcare and his commitment to continuing his work as both a father and an actor. His hobbies include dancing.
