Misano Sakai is a Japanese voice actor from Tokyo, born on May 29. She is affiliated with the talent agency Raccoon Dog. Before beginning her voice acting career, Sakai spent ten years playing soccer as a defender, an experience that has informed her energetic performance style and personal interests. She is a graduate of the Pro Fit Voice Actor's Training School.

Sakai made her anime debut in 2019 with a minor role in the television series Midnight Occult Civil Servants. Her first major role came in 2021 when she voiced Saori Komurasaki in the sports anime Farewell, My Dear Cramer, a series about girls' soccer that aligned closely with her own athletic background. She also appeared in the film adaptation, Farewell, My Dear Cramer: First Touch.

Sakai is a core cast member of the cross-media music idol project Idol Bu Show, where she plays the role of Aki "Anchin" Anna. As part of this project, she performs with the unit X-UC and has contributed to several character song releases and albums, including the singles Current Xanadu and Papier Mache IDOL, as well as the film Idol Bu Show The Movie.

Her career includes a range of supporting roles in television anime such as Saiyuki RELOAD -ZEROIN-, The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You, I'll Fall in Love Anyway, and My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999. She also had a role in the critically acclaimed film Suzume.

In the gaming industry, Sakai has lent her voice to numerous titles. Her game credits include Odella in Brown Dust, Janice in Brown Dust 2, Naoko in Time Defenders, Isabella in Yggdra Resonance, Chris in Lemuria of Luminaria, Soga no Tojiko in Touhou Danmaku Kagura, and roles in the Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Hinokami Chronicles game and the MapleStory franchise.
