Jessica Toledo

Description
Jessica Toledo is a Chilean voice actress and singer, born on April 26, 1979, in Santiago, Chile. She began her career in the early 2000s, initially gaining recognition for her fan-made Spanish covers of anime theme songs, a path that helped establish her within the Latin American dubbing community. Her popularity from these musical endeavors led to professional voice acting work, for which she trained at the Santiago dubbing academy ArtyCom, now known as YQProd. She has been active in the industry since at least 2002, working with companies such as DINT Doblajes Internacionales.

In addition to voice acting, Toledo is also recognized as a singer of anime openings and endings, contributing to the popularity of "anison" in Chile. She has recorded several anime theme songs and has performed live, including in the musical project 2TheLight with fellow singer Salomé Anjarí. Her musical work also includes collaborative tracks such as Give a Reason for the anime Slayers.

Toledo has an extensive filmography in anime dubbing. One of her most iconic roles is Katara in the series Avatar: La Leyenda de Aang. Her other prominent anime roles include Ran Mouri in the Chilean dubbing of Detective Conan, Jibril in No Game No Life, Riveria Ljos Alf in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, and Daryl Cavendish in Little Witch Academia. In the series Edens Zero, she provides the voice for the character Witch Regret, one of the Four Shining Stars. Her work also extends to films, such as voicing Kita in the 2021 film Belle.

Beyond anime, her voice work encompasses a wide range of Western animation and live-action series. In animation, she is known for roles like Trixie Carter in Jake Long: El Dragón Occidental, Nova in Súper Escuadrón Ciber Monos Hiperfuerza ¡Ya!, Slipstream and Arcee in Transformers Animated, and Pixel in Jim de la Luna. For live-action dubbing, her credits include Trixie in LazyTown, Trish Walker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Jessica Jones, The Defenders, and Luke Cage, and Claire Sawyer in Manual de Supervivencia Escolar de Ned. She has also lent her voice to the Chilean series La cueva de Emiliodón, playing the characters Primitiva and Millonaria Millonaria.

In addition to performing, Toledo has taken on directing roles for various dubbing projects. A recurring professional collaboration noted in her career is with fellow Chilean voice actor René Pinochet, with whom she has shared roles in multiple series, most notably as the voices of Katara and Aang in Avatar: La Leyenda de Aang.
