Megumi Oohara

Description
Megumi Oohara is a Japanese voice actress born on April 16, 1975, in Tokyo, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent agency KeKKe Corporation. Oohara is best known for her long-running role as the voice of Nobita Nobi in the Doraemon anime franchise, a role she has held since 2005.

Oohara's career is defined by her association with the Doraemon series. In April 2005, she succeeded Nobiko Nozawa as the voice of Nobita Nobi in the long-running television anime series, taking over a character with a rich history. This marked the beginning of a defining chapter in her professional life. Since then, she has consistently voiced the character in all subsequent Doraemon media.

Her filmography is extensive and almost exclusively centered on the Doraemon franchise's annual theatrical releases. She has lent her voice to Nobita in every Doraemon film since 2006. These include the movies mentioned by the user, such as Stand by Me Doraemon (2014), Stand by Me Doraemon 2 (2020), Doraemon: Nobita's New Dinosaur (2020), and Doraemon: Nobita's Little Star Wars 2021 (2022). Her involvement continues with upcoming films like Doraemon: Nobita's Art World Tales (2025) and Doraemon: The New Nobita's Great Underwater Demon Castle scheduled for 2026. Beyond the movies, she has also voiced the character in numerous video games based on the series, including those for the Nintendo DS and Wii, and even in a crossover event for the mobile game Granblue Fantasy in 2021.

While her professional identity is overwhelmingly linked to the role of Nobita, Oohara has taken on other, though less prominent, voice acting work. Her other credited roles are primarily minor characters in television animation. For instance, in 2010, she provided voices for multiple characters in the anime series Stitch! and played the roles of Young Natsuhiko Moriaki and a reporter in the series And Yet the Town Moves. This limited range of roles outside her signature part highlights how she has become one of the most recognizable voices in Japan through this single, iconic character.

In addition to her voice acting career, Oohara is a qualified beautician and speaks English. Her hobbies include cooking and listening to music.
