Earl Baylon is an American actor recognized for his work in voice-over for animated series and video games, particularly within the anime and action-adventure genres. Born in East Hollywood and raised in Long Beach, California, he is of Filipino descent. Before pursuing acting professionally, Baylon was a biological sciences major on a pre-med track in college. His involvement in improvisational comedy, including a sketch comedy group, ultimately led him to change his career path, and he eventually gained representation from an agent who saw him perform.

Baylon's career as a voice actor achieved a significant breakthrough with his casting as Jonah Maiava in the 2013 video game Tomb Raider. He reprised this role in its sequels, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, providing both voice and motion capture performance for Lara Croft's close friend. This character became a central part of his career, and he later returned to the role for the Netflix anime series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, which continued the story of the video game trilogy. His portrayal of Jonah Maiava is notable for being the first instance of an actor playing the same character across both the video game and expanded animated media within the franchise's history.

In addition to his signature role, Baylon has voiced numerous characters in other prominent animated productions. He provided voices for Thorgil and Harald in the Netflix anime series Vinland Saga and voiced Loris in the second season of the acclaimed animated series Arcane. His other anime and animation voice credits include the role of a Tamaraw Spirit and General Villar in Trese, Caparaz in the Apple TV+ series Curses!, and Bask Om and Tokwan in Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX. As the user noted, he also voiced the sumo wrestler character Ganryu in the 2022 Netflix anime series Tekken: Bloodline, taking over the role from previous actor Paul St. Peter.

Beyond animation, Baylon has an extensive list of credits in video games. His work includes voicing Manaaki Almonte in Starfield, Kaishu Katsu in the English version of Rise of the Rōnin, and Lyle Bolton in the VR game Batman: Arkham Shadow, for which he also performed motion capture. His other game credits include Avatar: The Last Airbender - Quest for Balance, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and the upcoming Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, where he voices Marco Rodrigues.

Baylon has also appeared in on-screen roles, including the independent films Lumpia with a Vengeance and This Time, and television series such as St. Denis Medical and Welcome to Chippendales. He is the artistic director for Room to Improv, an Asian American and Pacific Islander comedy troupe in Los Angeles.
