Tarsila Amorim is a Brazilian voice actress, actress, and singer, born in São Paulo on January 14, 1988. She began her career in the entertainment industry at a young age, appearing as an actress in the television program Vila Esperança from 1998 to 1999. Alongside her artistic pursuits, she pursued higher education and graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo in 2014. She is the sister of fellow voice actress Tess Amorim.
Amorim has built an extensive career in dubbing, providing the Brazilian Portuguese voices for numerous characters across animation and live-action series. One of her most recognized roles in anime is as the voice of Fenneko, the sharp and observant fennec fox, in all five seasons of the Netflix series Aggretsuko. She also voiced Tsunoda in the same series. Her other notable anime dubbing credits include Hiyori Sarugaki in the long-running series Bleach, Yuhata Midorikawa in Knights of Sidonia, and Lyfia in Os Cavaleiros do Zodíaco: Alma de Ouro.
Beyond anime, Amorim's voice work spans a wide variety of animated productions. She has voiced characters in major international franchises, such as Cassandra in the series Enrolados Outra Vez: A Série, GoGo Tomago in Operação Big Hero: A Série, Janna Ordonia in Star vs. as Forças do Mal, and Gilda in My Little Pony: A Amizade é Mágica. She also provided the voice for Olívia in the Brazilian animated series Tuca, o Mestre Cuca. In addition to series, her work in animation includes voice roles in films like My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Rainbow Rocks and the 2019 live-action/CGI film A Dama e o Vagabundo, for which she voiced the character Dama.
In addition to her work in animation, Amorim has dubbed a significant number of live-action television roles. Her credits include Quinn Perkins in the series Scandal, Grace Gardner in Scream Queens, Margaux LeMarchal in Revenge, and Kirby Anders in Dynasty. She has also dubbed various characters in popular series such as Breaking Bad, Once Upon a Time, True Blood, and Hannah Montana.
Amorim has also taken on roles behind the scenes in dubbing. She served as a dubbing director for the series Descendentes: Mundo de Vilões in 2016 and 2017, and for Ride: A Magia do Cavalo in 2017. Outside of voice acting, she is a singer and was a founder of the YouTube channel Fala Vegan in 2017, which features interviews about veganism.
