ONA
Description
Lyfia is a young woman who serves as a maid and companion to Hilda of Polaris, the earthly representative of the god Odin in Asgard. She has long blue hair, often tied with a pink and green ribbon, and purple eyes. When Hilda falls ill and the ambitious Andreas Lise seizes power, Hilda entrusts Lyfia with the mission to stop Andreas and protect Asgard from his schemes. Lyfia escapes from Valhalla and, after being imprisoned, encounters the resurrected Gold Saint Aiolia of Leo. She persuades him to aid her, forming a central alliance. Her personality is marked by deep caring for those close to her and an unshakable determination, even when faced with the apparent prosperity that Andreas’s revival of the World Tree Yggdrasil brings to her homeland. Throughout the story, Lyfia’s role evolves from a fugitive servant into a key figure who ultimately becomes the new representative of Odin. She undergoes a mysterious transformation: at times a second, more sinister personality surfaces, showing a cold interest in the power of the Gold Saints. This dual aspect is linked to her hidden nature, which is rooted in Norse mythology where Lyfia (associated with the healing goddess Eir) is a deity of the mountain Lyfia. Her mental fortitude allows her to maintain her convictions and guide the Gold Saints in their mission to destroy Yggdrasil’s evil. While she does not possess combat abilities, her strength lies in her resolve, her role as a moral anchor, and later in her capacity as Odin’s representative, which enables her to merge her power with Aiolia’s to confront the evil god Loki. Her key relationships include her loyalty to Hilda, her partnership with Aiolia, and her opposition to Andreas. She is also observed by the God Warrior Frodi, who notes a change in her demeanor during the battles. Lyfia’s development is marked by a journey from a desperate helper to a leader who sacrifices herself to save Asgard, ultimately fulfilling a destiny tied to the land’s ancient myths.
