Sophie Frison is a Belgian actress born on January 2, 1985, in Uccle, Brussels, who is primarily known for her extensive work in voice acting, particularly for anime and animation series and films dubbed into French. Coming from a family of actors, she is the daughter of Jean-Claude Frison and Monique Kerkhof. She pursued formal training at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, where she studied drama starting in 2003.

Before focusing on voice acting, Frison gained on-screen experience. She began her media career in 2009 as a presenter for the music program D6Bels on Stage on the Belgian public broadcaster RTBF. She continued her television work as a columnist for the show Sans Chichis, also on RTBF, and later for the program Cinquante degrés Nord on Arte Belgique.

Her voice acting career is extensive and includes a wide array of roles in popular anime series and animated films. She is notably the consistent French voice of the character Serena in the Pokémon franchise, having voiced her in the Pokémon XY series and multiple films, including Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, and Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel. Her other significant anime roles include Nami in the film Harlock: Space Pirate, Saori Kido Athena in Knights of the Zodiac: The Legend of the Sanctuary, Carina in One Piece Gold, Rio Kastle in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, Flamie Speeddraw in Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers, and various characters across the Saint Seiya franchise, such as Lyfia in Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold and Shoko in Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō. She also voiced the character Cynthia Moore in an episode of the series Great Pretender.

Beyond anime, Frison has contributed her voice to other animated projects. She voiced Snow White in the 2016 animated film Un conte peut en cacher un autre (Revolting Rhymes) and Nina in Mini et les voleurs de miel. Her work also encompasses live-action dubbing, providing the French voices for actresses such as Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, and Alicia Vikander.

In addition to her performance career, Frison has pursued other creative endeavors. She has worked as a writer for the magazine ELLE and is an author-composer-performer in a rock band named Les Panties.
