Hirofumi Tanaka is a Japanese voice actor associated with the talent agency Aoni Production. He was born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, and is a graduate of the Aoni Juku Tokyo School, having completed the 19th term. His career encompasses a wide range of voice work in anime, video games, and original video animations.

Tanaka's filmography is extensive, largely consisting of supporting and guest characters across numerous long-running and popular series. In the 1990s and 2000s, he appeared in shows such as One Piece, where he voiced various incidental characters like fishmen and marines, and in Hikaru no Go, he played a supporting player as the deputy general of Kaiou Middle School. He also had roles in Shaman King as Cheru and in the comedy series Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, voicing characters including Ambaga-Nosuke and Kintada Tetsuji.

In his later career, Tanaka has taken on more prominent, named roles. He voiced the character Kuniharu Kakizaki in the anime series World Trigger. He also played Ryuta Hoshikawa in the 2006 anime film The Laws of Eternity.
