Aina Takeda
Description
Aina Takeda is a Japanese voice actress and former idol, born on March 5 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. She is of Japanese and Filipino descent. Her career began in December 2016 when she successfully passed an audition for the digital voice idol group 22/7, a project produced by Yasushi Akimoto. Initially, she was known only by her entry number, 15, and the nickname Ichigo-chan before her stage name, Aina Takeda, was chosen through a fan-naming event in March 2017. For a period after joining 22/7, Takeda was not assigned to one of the group's main eight anime characters. During this time, she was considered one of the three "hidden gems" members of the group. She took on minor voice roles in anime using the alias Ichi Ichigo, appearing in series such as DIVE!! (2017) and Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (2018). Her affiliation with the 22/7 project was solidified in September 2018 when she was revealed as the voice of the character Tsubomi Hiiragi during a first-anniversary special event. She officially began performing as Hiiragi in the group's variety show, 22/7 Keisanchu, later that year. This character would become her most prominent and representative role, which she voiced in the 2020 television anime 22/7 and its associated mobile game, 22/7 Music Time. She also voiced minor roles in other anime, including a child character in Fate/Grand Order - Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia (2019), and a child version of Floyd in the game Disney Twisted Wonderland (2020). In late 2020, Takeda announced a hiatus from 22/7 activities to focus on her academic studies. She returned to the group in April 2021 for commemorative events. However, she announced her graduation from 22/7 in September of that year, officially leaving the group at the end of December 2021. Her character, Tsubomi Hiiragi, also graduated from the 22/7 project at the same time. Since her graduation, she has continued to use the name Aina for her activities.
