Tadahiro Miura is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator, recognized as the original creator of the manga series Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs. He graduated from Kyoto Seika University with a degree in story manga. His professional debut came in 2011 with the one-shot manga Idol Family, published in an issue of Weekly Shonen Jump's special supplement magazine, Jump NEXT!. The story for this debut work was provided by坂本次郎.
Miura’s first serialized manga was Koisome Momiji, which ran in 2012, also with坂本次郎 serving as the writer. Following several other one-shot publications, including High Spec Lovers in 2013 and Gazer in 2014, he launched his most successful work. Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs, which Miura both wrote and illustrated, was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to June 2020 and was collected into twenty-four volumes. The series is a romantic comedy centered on a high school boy who lives in a boarding house populated by supernatural female tenants, including the ghost Yuuna. The manga was adapted into a twelve-episode anime television series produced by Xebec, which aired from July to September 2018. An original video animation series was also released from 2018 to 2020.
Miura’s known works predominantly feature romance and supernatural themes, often incorporating ecchi elements. He has also provided illustrations for the Kaidan Kanojo series of novels written by Etsumu Towa. In the manga industry, Miura is noted as the mentor to Shun Saeki, the illustrator of the popular series Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma.
