Comona Lewin

Description
Comona Lewin is an American voice actor known for their work in English dubs of anime series, primarily for Crunchyroll (formerly Funimation). They were born on August 4, 1998, in Chicago, Illinois. Lewin is also known within the competitive Super Smash Bros. community as a tournament commentator, a passion they have pursued alongside their voice acting career.

Lewin's path to voice acting began during high school, starting with background and bit-part roles at Funimation. They secured an internship with the company in 2017, which led to a significant career breakthrough when ADR director Tyler Walker cast them in their first leading role as Nobuaki Kanazawa in the series King's Game. This opportunity marked a transition from minor background work to more substantial character roles.

Among their notable roles, Lewin has voiced Climb in the popular series Overlord, a character they have cited as one of their favorites to play. They also voiced Makoto Shiranui in the 2020 series Hatena Illusion. In The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made, Lewin provides the voice for the character King Kaiser, the giant gorilla form of the heroine Saria. Other prominent credits include Yusuke Yamagishi in My Tiny Senpai, Teru Kitsunesato in BLUE LOCK, and roles in major franchises such as Dragon Ball Daima, One Piece Film: Red, and SPY x FAMILY. They have also been credited under the name Coby Lewin in some earlier works.

In an interview, Lewin shared that they particularly enjoy playing characters described as "young men that wear armor and swing swords," citing Climb from Overlord and Van from Banished from the Heroes' Party as two of their most enjoyable roles. Beyond their voice acting, Lewin is an alumnus of the University of North Texas and continues to work as a commentator for Super Smash Bros. tournaments across the country.
