Laura Summer is an American voice actress and producer with a career spanning several decades, beginning in the early 1980s. Her career started in New York City theater, where she was cast in a production of Antony and Cleopatra. She has appeared in over 100 commercials, and in the 1980s, she was known for her role in a Hanes underwear campaign, coining the phrase, "They don't say Hanes until I say they say Hanes".

Summer is best known for her extensive voice work in animation, particularly her long-standing association with the Digimon franchise. She is the original English voice of Patamon, the partner Digimon of T.K. Takaishi. She first voiced the character in the Digimon Adventure series and its sequel, Digimon Adventure 02, and later reprised the role in the 2000 compilation film Digimon: The Movie. After a long hiatus, she returned to the role for the Digimon Adventure tri. series of films, voicing Patamon in all six installments. She continued her portrayal of Patamon in the subsequent film, Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, and Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning. Her performance as Patamon in the tri. films earned her a nomination for a Behind the Voice Actors Award for Best Female Supporting Vocal Performance in an Anime Movie/Special in 2017.

In addition to her work on Digimon, Summer has provided voices for other anime series dubbed into English. These roles include Heather Hogwarsh in the series Super Pig, Mimi in Hello Kitty's Paradise, Princess Hightower in Flint the Time Detective, and Mayura in Twin Star Exorcists.

Beyond anime, Summer has a wide range of voice acting credits in American animation and other media. One of her most notable early roles was as the voice of Janine Melnitz in the first two seasons of the popular cartoon The Real Ghostbusters. She also had a recurring role on The Garfield Show from 2008 through 2013, where she voiced the twin characters Druisilla and Minerva. Her work also includes providing additional voices for numerous films and television shows, such as the High School Musical series, The Cheetah Girls, and Beverly Hills Cop III.
