Patrizia Burul is an Italian voice actress born in Trieste on November 18, 1967. She began her career in theater before transitioning to dubbing, a field she entered after moving to Rome approximately twenty years ago. She found she had a natural aptitude for the synchronization and interpretation required in voice acting.

Burul is widely recognized for her long-standing role as the voice of Abby Sciuto, portrayed by Pauley Perrette, in the television series NCIS - Unità anticrimine and its spin-offs from 2005 to 2018. Her voice work, however, extends across various media, including animated series and video games.

In the realm of anime and animation, Burul is notably associated with the Digimon franchise. She provided the Italian voice for the character Hawkmon in the series Digimon Adventure 02, as well as for its evolutions and related forms such as Poromon, Aquilamon, Halsemon, Shurimon, and Silphymon. She later reprised the role of Hawkmon for the film Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. Another significant anime role is the character Serie in the series Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. Her work in animation also includes voicing multiple characters in the popular children's series Peppa Pig, such as Auntie Pig, Mummy Zebra, and Mummy Donkey.

Beyond animation, Burul's dubbing career encompasses a wide range of video game characters. Notable credits include Cere Junda in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and its sequel Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Charlotte Vargas in Knack and Knack II, Jin Sun-Kwon in F.3.A.R., and the Doctor in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. In her approach to dubbing, she emphasizes the importance of faithfully reproducing the original performance without betraying it, aiming to reconstruct the atmosphere and magic of the source material.
