Alex Friedland is a German actor and voice actor born in Rostock in 1990, who has built a career spanning theatre, film, and dubbing. He studied acting at the University of Music, Drama, and Media in Hanover, graduating with his diploma in 2016, and received the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship during his studies. Following his education, Friedland gained experience at several theatres, including the Schauspiel Frankfurt, the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater, and the Schlosstheater Celle, where he performed in a wide range of leading roles in productions such as 1984, Cabaret, and Fabian.

In addition to his stage work, Friedland is active as a voice actor for film, television, and video games, dubbing dialogue from English and other languages into German. His voice work encompasses a variety of international productions. One of his most prominent anime roles is providing the German voice for the character Danka Niel Maple in the 2022 fantasy series Skeleton Knight in Another World. He also voices Denji, the protagonist of the acclaimed anime series Chainsaw Man, in its German dubbed version. His other anime credits include the role of Rindou Haitani in Tokyo Revengers and a voice role in Classroom of the Elite.

Beyond anime, Friedland's dubbing work is extensive and includes major live-action series and films. He is the German voice for the character Salo in the animated series Arcane and has dubbed roles in popular shows such as Squid Game, Andor, Shadow and Bone, and The Old Man. He also voiced a role in the Academy Award-winning film Everything Everywhere All at Once. Friedland is based in Berlin and continues to work across multiple disciplines, including voiceover for audiobooks, documentaries, and video games.
