Yoshiya Naruke

Yoshiya Naruke is a Japanese voice actor affiliated with the agency I'm Enterprise. He was born on November 1, 1985, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. He is a graduate of the Japan Narration Acting Institute. During his university years, he was a member of a student orchestra, and he also serves as the leader of a theater group called Meteor Group.

Naruke's debut acting role was in the 2004 television anime series Rozen Maiden. In the years following his debut, he built a career by providing voices for a wide range of supporting characters in numerous anime television series. Some of these roles include a character named Lawrence in Cluster Edge and a minor role in Shonen Onmyouji, both from 2006. In 2007, he voiced a young boy in an episode of Kekkaishi. His credits from 2009 include acedia in 11eyes and a securities exchange employee in A Simple Understanding of Modern Magic. In 2010, he voiced a male student in Yosuga no Sora and had a role as a prince in the Japanese dub of Stitch!. He continued with roles in series like Boys Be Thyself! (2011) and The Reflection (2017). A more recent television credit is a minor role in the 2020 series Great Pretender.

In addition to television work, Naruke has contributed his voice to original video animations (OVAs) and animated films. A significant role came in the long-running Tenchi Muyo! franchise. He was cast as the character Sho Kukoma for the fifth season of the Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki OVA series, a role that was announced in 2020. His other OVA credits include the 2020 series The Island of Giant Insects. In film, he has been involved in the New Initial D the Movie series, with credits for Legend 1: Kakusei in 2014 and Legend 3: Mugen in 2016.

Naruke has also lent his voice to several video game projects. His game credits include the role of Quark as a child in The Last Story (2011), Senaudo in Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team (2017), and Mizai in Gravity Rush 2 (2017).
