Yoshio Nagahori was a Japanese voice actor and narrator, born on February 8, 1952, in Tokyo, Japan. He was professionally known for the majority of his career by his stage name, Daisuke Gori. He began his career in the 1970s and was active until his death in 2010, working with various talent management firms, including Mausu Promotion and, finally, Aoni Production. He was known for his distinctive, deep, and powerful voice, which made him a frequent choice for large, powerful, and often villainous characters.
His extensive career encompassed hundreds of roles across anime, video games, and narration. In anime, he was particularly renowned for his long-running roles in the Dragon Ball franchise, where he voiced several characters including Mister Satan, King Enma, and the Ox-King.
