Ryoma Takeuchi is a Japanese actor and model who is primarily known for his extensive work in live-action television dramas and films. He made his voice acting debut in the 2022 animated film The Deer King. His career is not centered on anime voice acting, with this role representing a notable foray into the field rather than a defining aspect of his professional identity.

Born in Tokyo on April 26, 1993, Takeuchi was a dedicated soccer player from a young age and was a member of the Tokyo Verdy youth team. After an injury led him to abandon his dream of becoming a professional soccer player, he pursued a career in entertainment. His entry into the industry came in 2013 when he won the "Mina Kare Grand Prix" audition for the female fashion magazine Mina, subsequently signing with the talent agency Horipro.

Takeuchi rose to national prominence with his first leading role as Shinnosuke Tomari, the title character in the popular tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Drive, which aired from 2014 to 2015. This success was followed by a series of high-profile performances in critically acclaimed and popular television dramas such as Hiyokko, Overprotected Kahoko, and Rikuoh, which solidified his status as a leading actor. His performance in the film Teiichi: Battle of Supreme High earned him the Newcomer of the Year award at the 41st Japan Academy Film Prize, among other accolades.

In 2022, Takeuchi took on the role of Hossal in the animated fantasy film The Deer King. This marked his first experience providing a voice for an animated character.
