A.J. LoCascio is an American voice actor, director, and producer known for his extensive work in animation and video games. Born on July 11, 1987, he grew up in New Jersey before moving to New York City to attend the School of Visual Arts. His career in voice acting began in earnest with a role that would become a signature performance: Marty McFly in the 2010 video game Back to the Future: The Game. LoCascio landed the part after a casting director discovered his natural vocal resemblance to Michael J. Fox, and he has since reprised the role in subsequent games and animated projects.

While his work spans a wide range of franchises, LoCascio has become a prominent figure in anime dubbing and animated series. He voiced the caveman Thunk in the DreamWorks Animation television series Dawn of the Croods and its sequel The Croods: Family Tree. He gained further recognition in the anime community for his role as the complex antagonist Prince Lotor in the Netflix series Voltron: Legendary Defender. In 2021, he joined the English cast of the critically acclaimed series Ranking of Kings, providing the voice for Domas, a loyal but conflicted knight serving the royal family.

LoCascio's career is marked by frequent collaborations with major studios like Funimation, where he has worked on numerous English dubs, and a tendency to voice iconic characters. Besides Marty McFly, he has taken on the roles of Han Solo in several Lego Star Wars specials and the video game Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and Owen Grady in the Jurassic World Evolution video games. In a notable achievement, he voiced Emmet Brickowski in the Legoland 4D attraction The Lego Movie: 4D – A New Adventure, stepping in for Chris Pratt. His versatility extends to portraying the beloved creature Gizmo in the animated series Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai. More recently, he received significant acclaim for his performance as Remy LeBeau, also known as Gambit, in the 2024 revival series X-Men '97, a role he has continued in subsequent video games like Marvel Rivals.
