Sébastien Reding

Sébastien Reding is a Canadian voice actor and dubbing director from Quebec, primarily known for his work in the French-language versions of animated and live-action productions. He is sometimes credited under the names Sébastien François-Redding or Sebastien-François Redding.
Reding has lent his voice to numerous prominent roles in anime and animated series. He is perhaps best known for being the regular French voice of the character Ash Ketchum in the Pokémon film series for the Quebec market. His credits in this long-running role include the films Pokémon: The First Movie, Pokémon 2000 - The Movie, Pokémon 3 - The Movie, Pokémon 4Ever, Pokémon Heroes - Latias & Latios, Pokémon: Jirachi Wish Maker, and Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys. Another significant role was voicing Yugi Moto in the Quebec French version of the film Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Movie.
In the Bakugan franchise, Reding has had a long-standing association, contributing both as a voice actor and as a director. In the original series, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, he voiced the character Marucho Marukura. He later voiced the character Strata in the reboot series, Bakugan Battle Planet. Other anime voice credits include Devil Bat in Eyeshield 21 and roles in the French versions of Spider Riders and its sequel. Beyond anime, his voice can be heard as General Koopa in the Quebec French dub of The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
