Joel Armogasto Martinez, known professionally as The Kid Mero, is a Dominican-American writer, comedian, and television personality who has also worked as a voice actor in animated projects. His career in entertainment began alongside fellow Bronx native Desus Nice, with whom he co-hosted several successful podcasts and talk shows, including Desus vs. Mero and the Viceland and Showtime series Desus & Mero. This comedic partnership extended into his voice acting work.

The Kid Mero's most prominent voice role is as Lexy in the Netflix animated series Neo Yokio. Created by Ezra Koenig, the series is a fantasy comedy satire set in an alternate version of New York City.
