Minami Kabayama is a Japanese voice actress born on June 9th in Kagoshima Prefecture. She is a graduate of the 44th class of Haiyuza Voice Actors Studio and began her career in 2014. Throughout her career, she has been affiliated with several agencies, including Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society and Ogipro THE NEXT, and as of December 2019, she is a member of WISE PRODUCTION's Osaka office.

Kabayama's most significant early role came in 2017 when she was cast as Jinrai in the television anime Frame Arms Girl. This character, a stubborn, serious, and old-fashioned Frame Arms Girl who values loyalty, marked her first leading role and became one of her most recognized performances. She reprised the role of Jinrai for the 2019 film Frame Arms Girl: Kyakkyau Fufu na Wonderland and for a 2021 pachislot game based on the series. Her involvement with the franchise also extended to music, as she performed several character songs for Jinrai, including GIRL-MIND and Manjo Ichi LOVE ENERGY, which were featured in anime albums and releases.

Beyond the Frame Arms Girl franchise, Kabayama has contributed to a variety of other anime series. Her television anime credits from her early career include roles in Million Doll as Kaede, Magic Nurse Komei R as Kotaro Yoshida, and Phantasy Star Online 2 The Animation as Mayu Kyouzuka. She has also worked in foreign dubbing, providing Japanese voiceovers for television series such as the travel documentary Inside Luxury Travel with Varun Sharma and Orange Is the New Black.

In addition to her voice acting work, Kabayama holds unique professional qualifications, including a first-grade license in the All-Japan Commerce Information Processing Examination for the COBOL programming language and a second-grade license in the All-Japan Bookkeeping Examination. Her official skills include traditional Amami Island singing and breath-hold diving, and she lists interests such as watching films and stage plays, travel, judo, swimming, and plastic model kits.
