Fusako Amachi was a Japanese actress, voice actress, and singer born on January 3, 1941, in Tokyo, Japan. Her real name was Fusako Iwasawa. She passed away on January 6, 2019.

Amachi was active in the Japanese entertainment industry from the 1960s through the 1980s, with a career that spanned live-action film and television as well as voice work in animation. Beyond her acting, she was also known for her work as a singer, contributing theme songs to some of the series in which she appeared.

In the realm of anime, she is recognized for several prominent roles during the 1970s and 1980s. She voiced the title character in the 1985 anime series Obake no Q-Taro, specifically in the installment Fujiko Fujio Theatre: Obake no Q-Taro. A decade earlier, she provided the voice for the character Monpe Hanamura in the 1982 television series Tonde Mon Pe.

Her film work includes a role in the 1971 Toei Animation feature film Animal Treasure Island, an adventure comedy based on the novel by Robert Louis Stevenson. In this film, which featured a story by Hayao Miyazaki, she voiced the character Kathy, the granddaughter of the infamous pirate Captain Flint. She also lent her voice to the fairy Berylune in the 1980 anime television series Maeterlinck's Blue Bird: Tyltyl and Mytyl's Adventurous Journey.

In addition to these voice roles, Fusako Amachi appeared in several live-action productions. Her credits include the 1975 film Erimomisaki and the 1972 film Kaijû daifunsen: Daigorou tai Goriasu.
