Sylvain Lemarié was a French voice actor known for his extensive work in the dubbing of anime series and films. Born on September 14, 1952, he passed away on April 19, 2023.

His career encompassed a wide range of roles in numerous popular anime titles. He voiced the character Derocchio in the 2018 film The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky. He also provided the voice for Tetsuzo, the father and artist known as Katsushika Hokusai, in the film Miss Hokusai. Lemarié had significant roles in the various adaptations of Fullmetal Alchemist, including as Cornello in the original 2003 television series and its live-action film adaptation, and as multiple characters such as Basque Gran, Buccaneer, Fu, and Heinkel in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. He was also the voice of Jinbe in the French dub of the long-running series One Piece, starting with the special One Piece 3D2Y: Overcoming Ace's Death!.

His other notable credits included Shiro Tatsumi in Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, Hol Horse in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure OVA series, and roles in Digimon Fusion, Afro Samurai, and Monster. His work is characterized by a broad vocal range, often portraying characters with significant power or authority.
