Kazuyo Aoki is a Japanese actress and voice actress born in Tokyo on August 27, 1947. She is affiliated with the talent management firm Kiraboshi. Aoki began her career as a stage actress with the theatre group NLT before transitioning to screen roles in the 1970s. Her voice acting career started in the latter half of the 1970s, and she became known for her versatile ability to portray a wide range of characters, from strong-willed mothers and mischievous boys to elderly women.

Aoki is particularly recognized for her long-standing contributions to major anime franchises. She is most famously known as the voice of Takeshi Goda, known as Gian, and his sister Jaiko in the long-running Doraemon anime series featuring the voice of Nobuyo Ōyama. Another iconic role is Hanae Ichinose, the boisterous and gossipy tenant in the classic series Maison Ikkoku. Her filmography includes a variety of other prominent characters. She voiced Jimsy in the 1978 series Future Boy Conan and its 1984 special, Mirai Shōnen Conan Tokubetsu-hen - Kyodaiki Gigant no Fukkatsu. In the anime adaptation of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, she provided the voice for the character Huckleberry Finn. Her role as Hys, a loyal servant to the royal family, in the series Beast King GoLion spanned 42 episodes. She also voiced Robert Turner in the 1985 series Onegai! Samia Don, Hiroe in Obatarian, Saiko in the Doraemon film Ganbare! Gian!!, and Jack Pumpkinhead in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

In addition to her voice work in animation, Aoki has maintained a prolific career as a live-action actress, frequently appearing in television dramas and films, often in supporting roles such as neighbors, mothers, or shopkeepers. Her live-action credits include numerous popular Japanese dramas like 3年B组金八先生, Beautiful Life, and仁医, as well as films such as スリ and 美しい夏キリシマ. Beyond acting, she has also been an instructor at the TV Asahi Academy and has participated in various media, including radio dramas and puppet shows.
