Jacob Hopkins is an American actor and voice actor known for his work in both Western animation and English dubs of anime. Born on March 4, 2002, in San Francisco, California, he began his career as a child actor, appearing in live-action television series such as True Blood and The Goldbergs. He gained significant recognition for voicing the title character Gumball Watterson in the Cartoon Network series The Amazing World of Gumball from 2014 to 2017.

In 2021, Hopkins expanded his career to include English voice work for anime, achieving a career milestone with his first lead role as the immortal being Fushi in the series To Your Eternity. This role marked a significant transition into the anime industry. Following this debut, he has become a prominent voice in numerous English anime dubs. His other notable anime roles include Shun Kamiya in Tribe Nine, Makoto Katai in Komi Can't Communicate, Code in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, and Shuichiro Oishi in The Prince of Tennis. He also provides voices for recurring characters such as Roxilius in In the Land of Leadale, Homerun Batter in The Vampire Dies in No Time, and Matahiko Nekota in Life Lessons with Uramichi-Oniisan.
