Sergio Luzi

Sergio Luzi is an Italian voice actor and dubbing director, born in Rome on January 30, 1957. He has been active in the industry since at least the early 1990s, contributing voices to a wide range of animated series and films for the Italian market.
Luzi is known for providing the Italian voice for numerous lead and supporting characters in anime. One of his prominent early roles was as the protagonist Kenshiro in the 1993 Italian edition of the film Fist of the North Star. He also voiced the character Kenta Hirono, the titular hero in the series Yume Senshi Wingman. In the 2018 film Mirai, directed by Mamoru Hosoda, Luzi voiced the role of the Grandfather in the Italian dubbed version. Additionally, he was the voice of the title character Barbapapà in the first Italian dub of the series Barbapapa Around the World, which aired in 2002.
Beyond these specific credits, his extensive career in animation includes a variety of other notable roles. He was the second voice of Yūsaku Godai in Maison Ikkoku (known in Italy as Cara dolce Kyoko) and provided voices for multiple characters in The Rose of Versailles, including Bernard Chatelet and Alain de Soissons. He voiced Ryoga Hibiki in the CRC dub of Ranma ½ and Crilin in the first Italian edition of Dragon Ball. His other anime credits include roles in Candy Candy as Archie, Cuore as Ernesto De Rossi, and various characters in the Italian dubs of Transformers, Lady Oscar, and F-Zero Falcon Densetsu. In addition to Japanese animation, his voice is also known from children's programs such as Dora the Explorer, where he was the first voice of Swiper, and Baby Looney Tunes, where he voiced Bugs Bunny.
