Hector Almenara is a Venezuelan actor, voice actor, and broadcaster with a career spanning over two decades in the entertainment industry. He began his career in his native Venezuela, working in television as part of the artistic staff of RCTV, where he appeared on programs like La Radio Rochela and the telenovela Camaleona. His early experience also included work as an actor, announcer, and producer for the entertainment show Ni tan tarde. His professional trajectory later took him to Chile and then to the United States, specifically Miami, where he has continued to work extensively in voice-over and dubbing.

In the realm of anime and animation, Almenara is recognized for his contributions to the Latin American Spanish dubs of popular series. He is notably the voice of multiple characters in the hit series My Hero Academia. His roles in this franchise include the villainous Kurogiri, the pro hero Sekijiro Kan also known as Vlad King, and the villain Kenji Hikiishi, known as Magne. Additionally, he has lent his voice to other characters in the series, such as Ochaco's father, Sen Kaibara in the second season, and Hiryu Rin. Beyond this franchise, his work in animation includes providing the second voice for Shiro Shinobi and voicing Ghazan in the animated series The Legend of Korra.

Outside of anime, Almenara's dubbing work is extensive and varied. He has been the Spanish voice for actor Sylvester Stallone in films such as Escape Plan and The Expendables 3. He also voiced the character of Homer Addams in a 2014 redub of the classic series The Addams Family.
