Michiru Yamazaki is a Japanese voice actress and stage actress born on February 10, 1978, in Ibaraki Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent management firm Ken Production. A graduate of the Yoyogi Animation Institute, Yamazaki began her career with a strong foundation in stage performance, appearing in numerous theatrical productions before and during her voice acting work. Yamazaki is known for her ability to portray a wide range of characters, particularly young boys, with a spirited and dynamic presence. Her most prominent and enduring role is that of Ikki Tenryou, the protagonist of the Medarot franchise. She voiced the character in the original 1999 television anime series Medarot and its 2000 sequel, Medarot Damashii, as well as in numerous video games based on the series.
