Takao Mitsutomi is a Japanese voice actor from Kumamoto Prefecture, born on August 19, 1991. He is affiliated with the talent agency BLACK SHIP. His journey to becoming a voice actor was inspired by the anime Bakemonogatari during high school, and a victory in a singing contest in his senior year solidified his desire to pursue a performance career. After moving to Tokyo, he trained at the A&G Academy and the HolyPeak Voice Actors School.

Mitsutomi made his debut in television animation in 2016 with the role of Honey in the series Nanbaka. This performance is one of his most recognized early roles. Since then, he has built a diverse portfolio of anime voice work, appearing in productions such as Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS, Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens, and an episode of Adachi and Shimamura. More recent anime credits include roles in A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School! as Yakumo Mujina and a cameo in the 2024 film Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle.

Beyond anime, Mitsutomi is active in the video game industry. His game credits include prominent titles such as Monster Strike, AFK Arena, and 18TRIP, in which he voices the character Yodaka Natsume. His work extends to other media as well, including stage plays, audio dramas, narration for online content, and dubbing for foreign series and films.

In addition to his acting, Mitsutomi is noted for his strong singing ability, which has been featured in character songs and music units related to his roles, particularly for the 18TRIP project. He holds a Medical Herb Coordinator license and a standard driver's license, and his personal interests include baseball, both as a spectator and a participant, as well as running. He is also skilled in latte art, cocktail making, and cooking.
