Atami Michinoku is a Japanese manga creator known for work in the shoujo, boys love (BL), and high school romance genres. The creator is best recognized for writing and drawing the yonkoma comedy manga The High School Life of a Fudanshi. This original work began serialization online in Ichijinsha's Zero-Sum Online magazine, with the first tankōbon volume released on September 25, 2015. The series concluded on September 7, 2018, spanning five compiled volumes. The manga is licensed for English release in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment.
The popularity of the original manga led to an anime adaptation. The High School Life of a Fudanshi was produced by the studio EMT Squared and broadcast in Japan from July 5, 2016, to September 20, 2016.
