Antonella Giannini is an established Italian voice actress, widely recognized for her extensive work in dubbing foreign films and television series for the Italian market. Her career is characterized by a prolific output, and she is particularly known as the primary Italian voice for several acclaimed actresses, including Frances McDormand, Anjelica Huston, and Sissy Spacek. In 2009, her talent was honored with the Premio Voci for Best Supporting Voice in Cinema for her dubbing of Frances McDormand in the film Burn After Reading.

In addition to her live-action dubbing, Giannini has a significant presence in the world of anime and animated films, lending her voice to a variety of characters. She voiced the role of San Hojo in the Italian-language version of the 2016 historical drama film In This Corner of the World. For the acclaimed Studio Ghibli film When Marnie Was There, she provided the voice for the character Hisako.
